About The Position

Join a thriving adult primary care practice in the beautiful coastal town of Mystic, CT! This hybrid role involves building a personal patient panel while also providing support to existing providers with overflow. Requirements

• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible).
• Training as a Nurse Practitioner (Family, Adult/Geri Nurse Practitioner) or Physician Assistant.
• 2 years' experience in a primary care or relevant outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine physical examinations under established guidelines and in collaboration with the practice physician(s).
• Formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients.
• Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with the physician(s) and care team members.
• Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider's practice as designated by protocols.
• Identify problems outside of their scope of practice and refer appropriately to physician.
