About The Position

Fairview Health Services is seeking an Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Physician to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinic - Andover. This position is part of a 14 provider primary care practice with more than 7 specialists onsite. The average patient encounters are 18-22 patients per day, with 34 patient contact hours per week. The call frequency is low intensity at 1:20, consisting of phone consultations only with first tier nurse triage.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics or residency training program.
• BC/BE with the ABMS or AOA.
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to patients in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
• Manage patient encounters effectively, averaging 18-22 patients per day.
• Participate in low intensity call frequency for patient consultations.
