About The Position

The position involves providing high quality, evidence-based clinical care with a focus on LGBTQ patients. The role includes offering clear and effective instruction within the area of expertise to students in the Colleges of Medicine and Graduate Studies, as well as house staff. Additionally, the position promotes high quality research, maintains regular publications, and offers research training to medical, graduate, and post-doctoral students. The candidate will consult and collaborate with colleagues, facilitate the goals of SUNY Upstate Medical University, and participate in hospital and departmental governance, curriculum development, administration, and medical service group meetings.

Requirements

• MD or foreign equivalent
• NYS license or eligible
• BC/BE in Internal Medicine

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with general medicine patients in an academic healthcare setting preferred
