About The Position

Clarius Medical Group, PLLC is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care / family medicine services in the Clear Lake / Southeast Houston area. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity focused on the general practice / family medicine side of patient care within a facility-based setting. While the work is performed in a behavioral hospital environment, this role is not primarily psychiatric . The provider will focus on medical management, stabilization, and treatment of general health concerns for adolescent and adult patients. This opportunity is ideal for an NP who enjoys hands-on patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and facility staff, and making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced clinical setting. Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited program.
  • Active Texas APRN / Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
  • Comfortable treating adolescent and adult patients.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred; other relevant NP certifications considered.
  • Experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, post-acute, or facility-based care preferred.
  • eClinicalWorks experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive and episodic assessments for adolescent and adult patients.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Manage day-to-day primary care and family medicine needs in a facility-based setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing as clinically indicated.
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with Texas and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and facility leadership to support continuity of care.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in the EHR.
