About The Position

Be part of JPMorganChase’s PricingDirect team, where your expertise in finance and technology drives accurate valuations for millions of securities daily. Your contributions directly  As a Securities Valuation Associate, you’ll leverage trading, research, analytics, and technology resources to manage large volumes of data, develop pricing models, and identify growth opportunities. You’ll lead projects, deliver results, and collaborate with teams in New York, London, and Hong Kong, serving clients worldwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of finance principles and mathematical/statistical modeling.
  • Minimum three years’ experience with fixed income securities.
  • Advanced qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; ability to process large volumes of market information.
  • Proficiency in Excel with Visual Basic coding and/or practical Python experience.
  • Excellent communication skills for client and internal interactions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with RMBS/ABS/securitized products.
  • Master’s degree in relevant field.
  • Experience in programming languages such as Python, VBA, SQL; aptitude for learning new technologies.
  • Detail-oriented, creative problem solver; ability to multi-task and self-manage priorities in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across research, sales, trading, portfolio management, and technology teams.
  • Clear, logical thinker with strong quantitative abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Generate securities valuations for multiple market closes, owning the process from market data collection to client interaction.
  • Model cashflows for securitized products, analyzing complex deal structures and asset performance.
  • Identify and develop new product growth areas through research and collaboration with clients, trading desks, and technology teams.
  • Enhance product and service quality via market surveillance, data analysis, process control reviews, and quality assurance.
  • Perform complex financial assignments, including quantitative and data analysis.
  • Provide in-depth portfolio analysis and communicate findings to colleagues and clients.
  • Maintain regular contact with trading desks, research teams, and market participants.
  • Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
