About The Position
As a Pricing Specialist at Graybar, you will play a crucial role in maximizing the profitability and effectiveness of the Company's cost recovery process within the district or specified area. This hybrid position allows for both remote work and in-office collaboration at our St. Louis office. Your primary responsibilities will include creating and maintaining chargeback agreements (sales deals) in an accurate and timely manner, as well as monitoring and resolving Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and non-EDI supplier rebate chargebacks through the reconciliation process. You will be expected to communicate effectively with the District Pricing Coordinator to coordinate rebate and pricing strategies, ensuring that all processes are aligned with company goals. In addition to these tasks, you will provide assistance to the Company's Sales Representatives and district or branch management to identify and resolve rebate issues. This will involve preparing monthly summaries of unsettled rebate claims as required by the Director of Operations. Utilizing your working knowledge of ZGMR and ZCPI t-codes, you will review profitability and communicate with Price and Cost Services regarding material master data and cost issues that impact cost recovery. Your role will also include reporting and miscellaneous tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the pricing process within the organization.
