About The Position

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Pricing Senior Analytics Consultant. This role supports the Auto lending business by providing analytical insights that drive pricing and profitability strategies. In this role you will: Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements Lead or participate on large cross group projects Mentor less experienced staff Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive advantage for Wells Fargo Develop, test, analyze and implement strategies to achieve the financial objective relevant to macro-economic conditions Work closely with cross functional teams (Tech, Product, Risk, Operations) to drive impact on a given product, problem, or initiative

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Strong skills using statistical/data science tools such as SAS, R, Python, etc.
  • Support development of visualizations and dashboards such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
  • Ability to execute in a fast-paced, demanding environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to develop and integrate statistical and analytical approaches to pricing activities to optimize performance and gain strategic insights
  • Proven ability to work effectively across teams and organizational levels to make high-impact decisions and complete challenging assignments
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to use imperfect information to solve complex problems and make strategic recommendations
