The Pricing/Scanning Coordinator at Food City is responsible for ensuring that all price changing procedures are properly followed and maintained across all departments. This role involves verifying that merchandise prices are consistent with the prices in the computer system, adding new and specialty items as needed, and conducting regular aisle scans of the entire store to ensure correct pricing of all merchandise through the in-store system and Mid Mountain. The coordinator will maintain audit records of all price changes and provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times. Additional responsibilities include ordering replacement tags, maintaining verification printouts, ensuring that all scales are correct and valid, and keeping the work station and surrounding area neat and clean. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
