About The Position

PacSci EMC – an operating company under Ralliant – is seeking a Pricing & Proposal Intern (Summer 2026) to join our team. This internship is designed for students graduating in 2026–2027 who are eager to gain hands-on experience in pricing analysis, proposal development, and business case support within the aerospace and defense industry.

Requirements

  • Junior or senior standing in 2026 or 2027, currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Engineering Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with proposal or project management tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize findings into clear reports and recommendations.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; confident working with cross-functional teams.
  • Interest in government contracts, FAR/CAS requirements, and defense industry standards (exposure is a plus, not required).
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Collaborative team player with curiosity and eagerness to learn.
  • Due to contractual and regulatory requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. PacSci EMC is a U.S. Department of State ITAR-regulated employer. To comply with ITAR-controlled contracts, this position requires U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating proposal efforts by supporting cross-functional teams with project management tasks and documentation.
  • Support proposal team members with gathering, reviewing, and organizing technical and business inputs for new opportunities.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to address proposal-related questions and ensure accurate technical inputs.
  • Contribute to cost analysis and modeling based on key pricing inputs to support optimal pricing recommendations.
  • Assist in developing business cases and preparing presentations for management review.
  • Support the preparation of cost support packages in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Help review proposal schedules and ensure data inputs align with program and facility capacity expectations.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects and documentation for pricing and proposal workflows.
  • Assist with discrepancy resolution and new price generation alongside pricing analysts.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
