About The Position

In this role, you will serve as a trusted adviser to Sales teams by providing guidance on pricing strategy and contractual terms, reviewing pricing for new deals and renewals, and developing proposal pricing and deal structure options as required. You will support a wide range of pricing models including subscription-based, transactional, user-based, hybrid plans, software license fees, and professional service fees, ensuring solutions are commercially sound and aligned with business objectives. This position is remote, US-based, and is an individual contributor role with direct impact on revenue, margin protection, and deal execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree required
  • Solid background working within Pricing, Finance or Accounting. Contract knowledge is a strong plus.
  • Experience working collaboratively with sales organizations
  • Excellent analytical skills and very strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of pricing principles and B2B pricing operations
  • Knowledge of the software/technology industry
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills including the ability to influence across the organization.
  • Advanced/Expert Excel skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultative deal pricing support to Sales and internal stakeholders, offering guidance on price levels, price structure, tiers, alternative commercial terms, and negotiating trade-offs, to support win probability while protecting margin.
  • Review and approve deal price exception requests in accordance with pricing policies, approval thresholds, and governance standards; coordinate required stakeholder input and approvals as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners involved in deal approvals, including but not limited to Market Planning, Order Fulfillment, Finance, and Professional Services.
  • Prepare customer-facing documents that accurately reflect approved pricing and commercial terms; review Legal-produced documents to ensure alignment with approved deal parameters.
  • Perform financial analysis to evaluate deal profitability, including modeling the projected financial impact of pricing and commercial decisions.
  • Draft customized contract language for non-standard commercial terms as required and determine the appropriate customer documents required.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate tracking of customer pricing data and proposal iterations throughout the deal lifecycle; coordinate proposal development efforts with the Sales team and management.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for profit optimization and process improvement.
  • Perform pricing analysis in support of pricing initiatives using information from multiple sources.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
