General Description The Pricing Manager is responsible for preparing compliant and cost competitive price and cost volume responses to requests for proposals and requests for quotes. Develops pricing models and templates. Responsible for pricing strategy development. Remote work acceptable coupled with partial work located in Madison, AL. Duties Work with technical and management subject matter experts to prepare estimates and pricing data in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) government Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs) Lead process improvement initiatives Develop pricing models Develop work load estimates, basis of estimates, pricing models, and pricing data Conduct pricing trades and analyses to optimize competitive bid pricing Integrate a variety of bid strategies to develop tailored rate structures for labor intensive bids Present cost estimates to corporate stakeholders and lead review discussions Develop price to win estimates for preliminary bid analyses and strategy Prepare proposal cost volumes including the narrative to respond to proposal Section L and M criteria Participate in site visits to gather data that will be used in the development of price estimates Work in a team environment Other Duties as assigned Education/Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree required. 5 plus years of related experience in a Government Contracting environment Ability to work well and communicate with others. Ability to write technical documentation through the performance of reading a solicitation and surveying technical subject matter expert. Familiar/experience in manufacturing business/environment Proficient in Pricing Software, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and SharePoint required Knowledge of indirect rate pools Excellent Negotiation Skills Proficient in cost estimating and pricing techniques Experience with DCMA/DCAA proposal audit practices Proficient at interpreting RFP requirements Physical Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
