Pricing Data Analyst
About The Position
As a Portfolio Operations Analyst on the Pricing Data Operations team, you will play a critical role in managing and validating pricing data for a diverse range of investment products. You will partner with Data Operations, Engineering & Technology, Portfolio Managers, and other internal teams to ensure accurate pricing data throughout the Investment ecosystem. This role requires availability to work from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday. We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 4 days a week. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years experience in an Investment Operations role, preferably supporting the Valuation function
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with data management tools and software, Excel, SQL, VBA, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with accounting and valuation of various asset classes including structured products and derivatives
- Experience with Accounting and Trading Systems; Advent APX, CRD, Bloomberg
Responsibilities
- Perform daily valuation and validation of securities, including equities, fixed income, structured products, and derivatives.
- Review and challenge pricing from external vendors, applying fair value methodologies in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the pricing data ecosystem
- Collaborate with technology teams to automate pricing workflows and improve data quality controls
- Respond to client inquiries to support Allspring’s Institutional clients and Subadvised business
