The Pricing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing the pricing and contract lifecycle for North American Pharmaceutical Distribution (NAPD) customers. This position partners closely with cross functional teams to ensure pricing accuracy, contract compliance, and adherence to regulatory guidelines. The Pricing Coordinator supports all regional distribution centers and sales teams and reports to the Pricing Coordinator Manager.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
  • Experience in pharmaceutical pricing, contract management, or related healthcare fields
  • Strong understanding of financial models and their implications for pricing decisions
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex contractual terms and conditions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • SAP and Salesforce proficiency preferred; Business Objects/BI experience a plus
  • Prior experience in contracting, pricing, finance, or accounting preferred
  • Experience partnering with sales teams

Responsibilities

  • Sales Support Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned sales teams regarding pricing, contract terms, and related inquiries.
  • Lead pricing-focused market check calls with Sales leadership.
  • Deal Lifecycle Management Manage the end-to-end customer deal lifecycle, including interpreting financial models, obtaining required approvals, and implementing pricing strategies.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc pricing and performance reporting.
  • Contract Management Review and interpret supply agreements.
  • Partner with the Contract Development team to draft, revise, and execute customer contracts.
  • Regulations & Compliance Coordinate with Legal to ensure all pricing practices adhere to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and monitor pricing approvals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate closely with rebate analysts, buying group managers, the strategic pricing team, and Sales Support Coordinators to meet pricing objectives and resolve customer issues.
  • Policy & Procedure Development Contribute to the development and enhancement of organizational pricing and contract management policies and procedures.
