About The Position

The Pricing Coordinator plays a key role in partnering with our sales team, as they manage accurate product pricing, contract agreements, and invoicing processes across diverse business lines (Wholesale, Feed, Industrial, Silica). This role collaborates with internal teams to update pricing sheets, set up accruals, and apply tax rules, while also providing customer-facing support through invoicing, pricing updates and supplying documentation like COAs and COOs. As a Pricing Coordinator the level of problem solving is intermediate, there will be times where they need to work independently to solve customer and sales issues which have a direct impact and outcome on earnings. They need to think independently and can reason and assess options. For more complex (advanced) items these individuals have resources on the team to go to.

Requirements

  • Pricing Structures: Base, advanced, and contract models; handling exceptions and preferences.
  • Billing & Invoicing: Credit/rebill processes; month/year-end close; specialized billing (storage, demurrage, tolling, sublease, fire season).
  • Financial Operations: Accrual setup by warehouse/product/equipment; tax applications (state, product, tariffs).
  • Contract Management: Creation, editing, expiration; pricing terms and conditions.
  • ERP Systems: JD Edwards (JDE) and Simplot Connect functionality.
  • Reporting & Compliance: BLS reporting; pricing analysis and customer reporting.
  • Data Management: Excel (formulas, pivot tables, validation); file organization for pricing docs.
  • Communication: Pricing updates; coordination with internal teams and customers.
  • System Administration: Simplot Connect user setup and troubleshooting.
  • 3+ years related experience and/or training
  • Associate's degree (AA or equivalent)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and own interaction with internal/external customers from initial contract or spot price, through to invoicing.
  • Partner with Account Sales Managers on setting and communicating pricing and price exceptions, including accruals, rebates, and any additional specialized billing
  • Monitor and reconcile pricing with review and verification of daily proof reports
  • Maintain compliance through assessment of taxes and tariffs
