About The Position

The Pricing Analyst role at Sazerac Company is crucial for ensuring an optimal pricing strategy that enhances the margins of our brands while driving aggressive growth. This position involves monitoring competitive pricing, analyzing distributor margins, and evaluating discounting efficiency. The Pricing Analyst will execute brand standard pricing strategies and make recommendations to brand and sales teams on pricing actions to improve the bottom line. This hybrid position requires three days a week at the office in Dallas. The role also emphasizes personal and professional growth, with responsibilities including developing processes and procedures related to pricing, managing the Vistaar system for high-priority markets, and optimizing discounting strategies. The Pricing Analyst will design and develop analytic tools and dashboards, contribute to the growth of the company's financial metrics, and identify training needs for career development within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure optimal pricing strategy and enhance brand margins
  • Monitor competitive pricing and analyze distributor margins
  • Evaluate discounting efficiency
  • Execute brand standard pricing strategies
  • Make recommendations to brand and sales teams on pricing actions
  • Develop processes and procedures in pricing
  • Manage the Vistaar system for high-priority markets
  • Design and develop analytic tools and dashboards
  • Optimize discounting strategy including analysis of IRC & MIR Coupons
  • Utilize CDS system to identify training needs and design development curriculum
  • Provide feedback to manager regarding on-the-job learning opportunities
  • Contribute to improving and optimizing per case metrics
