The Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting pricing strategy development, analyzing market trends, making competitive and data-driven pricing recommendations, and monitoring compliance with contract terms. This role will focus on optimizing pricing models, reviewing current pricing systems and making recommendations for technical and process improvements, tracking key pricing and contracts metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between pricing strategies and business objectives. The Pricing Analyst will play a key role in forecasting revenue impact, maintaining pricing and contract databases, and improving overall pricing efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in pricing analysis, financial modeling, or commercial operations, preferably in the medical device, MedTech, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing analytics, data visualization, and reporting automation.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies and contract pricing models.
  • Experience with SQL, Excel, or other data querying tools for analysis.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present insights to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Market Access.

  • Experience working in cardiovascular or MedTech industries.
  • Familiarity with value-based pricing models and risk-sharing agreements.
  • Experience with contract compliance analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in pricing automation tools and AI-driven pricing optimization.
  • Experience with pricing system tools, making technical recommendations for process improvements, and supporting the implementation team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pricing support by analyzing competitive data, reimbursement trends, and pricing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain pricing and contract dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for pricing and revenue optimization.
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Strategic Accounts, Finance, and Market Access teams to align data-driven pricing insights with strategic business objectives.
  • Support pricing governance by ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in developing market segmentation and pricing models to enhance revenue growth.
  • Conduct reimbursement and contract analysis to assess compliance with contract terms and to assess trends and support pricing decisions.
  • Work with IT and Business Intelligence teams to improve pricing data integration and reporting automation.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to provide insights into industry pricing trends.
  • Support pricing strategy formulation by analyzing pricing elasticity, profitability, and customer pricing preferences.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting by analyzing pricing impact and revenue projections.
  • Maintain a pricing database and tracker to monitor and report on pricing initiatives and contract performance.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company standards for pricing analytics.
