About The Position

The Pricing Analyst plays a crucial role in delivering our mission and achieving our goals. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies in alignment with business initiatives. Using your data analysis skills, you’ll develop pricing analytics to measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies and the impact of materials and other cost changes on the profitability of product lines. You’ll use the analytics to help contribute to decision making discussions that pertain to what we should be buying, how much we should be buying and how to price it. This position will serve our Rheem Air Distribution Division - Century A/C Supply, located in Houston, TX .

Requirements

  • At least a high school diploma, college degree preferred.
  • 3 years HVAC experience is required.
  • Expertise in data analysis and visualization using Excel (charts, dashboard, conditional formatting)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas
  • Effective verbal and writing communications skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of HVAC field concepts or industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and updating the cost and price pages for contract pricing and claim back quotes
  • Create, maintain and publish customer price books
  • Work with Territory managers on pricing for customers
  • Monitor customer buying patterns, competitive behaviors and market dynamics
  • Oversee the execution of annual price updates from major brands, ensuring precise and timely implementation
  • Conduct thorough reviews of customer pricing to maintain competitiveness and relevance in the market
  • Design and enhance pricing and profitability metrics, including dashboard reports for process evaluation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams to gather customer feedback and refine strategies
  • Evaluate proposed customer rebate programs, assessing their impact on overall profitability
  • Lead initiatives in pricing and profit optimization, fostering collaboration across departments
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business goals
