We are looking for someone who can combine rigorous analytical and partner management skillsets to build pricing engines and lead strategy across regions to enhance profitability. Within this role, you will work with multiple partners including GM, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Data Science teams. You'll be responsible for deep diving into customer behavior across different segments to understand the first- and second-order impact of our pricing decisions and subsequently partner with our GM teams to create pricing hypotheses, set up tests, and analyze performance. You will report to the Head of Pricing, Americas, and this role will require 3 days a week in our Seattle, Washington headquarters.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a data analyst role or similar full-time, professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, economics, or another quantitative field (or equivalent additional experience)
  • Intermediate SQL Proficiency
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
  • Expertise with statistical concepts (e.g. A/B testing, probability theory, forecasting) and how they can be applied in real-world situations
  • Experience distilling business problems, developing hypotheses, building an analytical framework, carrying out an analysis, and writing a clear recommendation
  • Strong data storytelling skills, including data visualization, technical writing, and business writing
  • Experience finding creative solutions within the constraints of complex systems and policies

Responsibilities

  • Build financial and predictive models to improve pricing strategies and increase revenue.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to design pricing experiments.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop and implement pricing strategies that align with team goals.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to inform pricing strategy.
