About The Position

Prepare simple to moderate complexity pricing proposals and support the proposal pricing process in order to create and submit accurate, efficient, effective, timely and competitive proposals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field of study such as Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
1 to 2 years of pricing, accounting, or finance experience in the federal government contracting environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including extensive experience with Microsoft Excel.
Working knowledge of government contracting process.
Experience pricing all contract types including such as FFP, FP-LOE, T&M, FP-LH, CPFF, CPAF and other cost reimbursable contracts preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn and understand new software quickly.
Ability to work with different departments and cross-functional teams.
Ability to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Ability to prioritize work and successfully meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

Responsibilities

Reviews and analyzes Request for Proposals (RFPs).
Prepares pricing proposals for simple to moderate complexity contracts, including internal files for review, as well as, customer submittal files.
Supports proposal pricing strategy analysis and discussions.
Prepares ad hoc analysis, as needed.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Leads pricing efforts on competitive proposals including preparing complex proposals in response to RFPs.
Reviews and analyzes RFPs to identify and assists the proposal team in developing proposals, pricing and business solutions for customers.
Works as an integral part of the capture/proposal team, assisting in the development of competitive pricing strategies, identifying risks and interpreting solicitation requirements.
Prepares competitive pricing proposals for moderate to complex contracts, including internal files for review and customer submittal files.
Performs cost/price analyses, modeling and estimates for complex competitive proposal efforts consistent with company policies, FAR and solicitation requirements.
Assists in determining price targets and performs risk/reward trade-off analyses to determine pricing tactics.
Supports rate analysis from a price to win perspective, including fringe, overhead, G&A and profit/fee.
Reviews cost/price proposals of others.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
