About The Position

The Pricing Analyst will support the development and execution of analytic processes used to ensure that distributors and suppliers comply with Avendra procurement contracts, charge accurate prices according to contractual terms to Avendra customers, and issue accurate credits for pricing errors. The Pricing Analyst plays an integral role in the audit of Regional Food and Non-Food pricing contracts and the delivery, tracking, and processing of audit results as well as supporting special projects and analyses. Price Audit is a high-visibility, high-impact department working with all aspects of the Avendra supply chain and a key department working to enforce Avendra's value proposition.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to organize and execute work
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills including grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Access, Excel and Word
  • Able to demonstrate confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • BS/BA in relevant field or equivalent years' experience

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and complete audits of distributors across North America for pricing compliance, including review of contract terms, preparation of work papers, schedules and a summary of work performed
  • Perform in-depth post-audit analysis of suppliers determined not to be in compliance with Avendra contracts to determine root causes for noncompliance. Develop and provide recommendations for resolving noncompliance issues
  • Communicate the results of audits, analyses and projects via written reports and oral presentations to suppliers and Avendra management
  • Perform research required to understand and correctly resolve audit issues.
  • Resolve Regional and Non-Food pricing support incidents
  • Consult with Avendra Price Audit management, commodity managers and regional managers to identify areas of risk and suppliers of specific concern; provide input into developing Avendra's annual audit plans
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key external contacts involved in the audit process
  • Interact with multiple functional departments to communicate, track, and resolve issues with data, items, pricing, contracts, etc.
  • Work with contracting department to manage issues related to audit accuracy
  • Assist in special projects and investigations
  • Assist with developing Avendra's automated tools for performing pricing verifications, which includes the design of sampling methodologies and using Excel as well as other software where appropriate
  • Design and execute ad hoc data analysis projects and compile results for presentation to management or external customers
