About The Position

The PriceMetrix Client Development Advisor role is focused on driving growth for PriceMetrix by building and nurturing client relationships, particularly within the wealth management sector. The advisor will work closely with executive client leadership to understand their business challenges and propose tailored solutions using PriceMetrix products and services. This position requires collaboration with McKinsey partners and client service teams to unlock opportunities and enhance existing firm relationships. The role involves leading presentations, managing proposals, and negotiating contracts, while also staying informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of strategic business development experience combined with consulting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Successful track record in developing client relationships in the wealth management space.
  • Proven ability to conclude multi-year large contracts.
  • Fluent in the retail financial services vertical.
  • Ability to apply a critical perspective beneficial to prospects and existing clients.
  • Entrepreneurial approach to business development and C-level stakeholder management.
  • Well-versed in marketing and client development processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including persuasive writing.
  • Strong written, verbal, and listening skills, with the ability to communicate with senior client audiences in English (French is a plus).
  • Comfort with ambiguous and ever-changing situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment.
  • Strong motivator, relationship builder, and strategic thinker with analytical skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities confidently.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to increase the growth of PriceMetrix by cultivating client relationships.
  • Work directly with clients to understand their business challenges and propose appropriate PriceMetrix products or services.
  • Collaborate with McKinsey partners and client service teams to unlock opportunities for PriceMetrix.
  • Lead virtual and on-site presentations to prospective clients.
  • Write proposals, manage procurement, and negotiate and close agreements with clients.
  • Become an expert in PriceMetrix products and services and maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Work with PriceMetrix teams to ensure proposed client solutions are achievable and meet client requirements.
