About The Position

The Price Maintenance Clerk at Lowes Foods is responsible for ensuring accurate pricing of merchandise sold in the store, providing excellent guest service, and supporting various operational tasks. This entry-level position involves updating prices in the register system, on shelf tags, and ensuring compliance with pricing changes, while also performing duties as a stocker and cashier as needed.

• Knowledge of DSD/Scanning operations.

• Demonstrate excellent math skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify/audit prices in DSD categories, MDI categories, Perishable departments and ad items.
• Update new prices in register system.
• Update new prices on shelf tags and signs.
• Update prices in the computer and on the shelf including displaying signs for discontinued items.
• Audit scan error logs.
• Ensure that all DSD price changes transmitted to the store are properly executed and shelf tags are printed and placed on the shelf (includes advertised and promotional items).
• Perform as a stocker.
• Perform as a cashier.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
