About The Position

The Preventive Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and diagnosing issues on diesel-equipped company vehicles, including Front Loaders, Side Loaders, and Roll-Off trucks. The role also involves assisting the Diesel Mechanic with various repairs and general maintenance on diesel systems as needed.

Requirements

• Heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair experience.
• Knowledge of CNG systems, brake systems (air & hydraulic), hydraulic ram systems, and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Previous experience in the refuse industry with diesel and A/C systems is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
