About The Position

Adapt Integrated Health Care is looking for a Prevention Manager to join their team in Roseburg, OR! This position works Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Prevention Program Manager, providers oversight for Adapt Integrated Health Care’s Prevention Program. The position is responsible for the oversight of respective personnel, grant funding and reporting, and the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and programs. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Prevention Practitioner, Community Health Educator, Counselor, or Social Worker
  • Current Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS), or ability to obtain within 2 years of employment.
  • Must be 21+ and possess a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Work toward a CPS with a goal of attainment within 2 years of taking this position or maintain CPS education requirements if it has been obtained
  • Seek out and obtain funding necessary to maintain effective and sustainable prevention programs
  • Create and maintain the Prevention Department budget and review at least quarterly with finance and executive leadership
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate prevention plans (state, county, grants) using the Strategic Prevention Framework, local data, and evidence-based practices and programs
  • Create and submit all quarterly and yearly reports to funding organizations
  • Supervise Prevention Team
  • Mentor new Prevention Team members, including Mentors and volunteers
  • Develop or update a Prevention Strategy each year for Douglas County
  • Provide prevention education for prevention and treatment staff
  • Participate in or assign a Prevention Team member to participate in each county prevention coalition, cultural organizations, Commission on Children and Families, and the United Way
  • Work with local faith groups to establish prevention partnerships
  • Provide technical assistance to community prevention groups as required to ensure implementation and evaluation of evidence-based prevention practices
  • Provide staff development training for Douglas County Schools
  • Be available to meet with school administrators at least yearly to develop prevention programs, evaluate services, seek funding resources, and maintain effective evidence-based prevention practices
  • Provide technical assistance to the Cow Creek Tribe of the Band of Umpqua Indians Prevention Coordinator
  • Meet with Executive Leader annually to complete Employee Performance Evaluation
  • Prepare, at least yearly, prevention program reports for the Board of Directors
  • Other duties, as assigned
