About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to serve as the Prevention Integrator for the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR), focusing on integrating primary prevention efforts related to substance abuse behavior. This role involves overseeing, planning, and evaluating USAR's primary prevention initiatives. The integrator will analyze data and recommend improvements to inform staff on key policy and planning issues that affect the effectiveness of prevention processes. The position also requires establishing strategic goals, outlining objectives to minimize high-risk behaviors, and providing consultation to personnel on strategies to decrease substance abuse. Collaboration with other prevention integrators and stakeholders is essential to develop and evaluate cross-cutting primary prevention activities. Additionally, the integrator will create engaging training courses to enhance understanding of primary prevention methods and disseminate information effectively.
