The Prevention Coordinator at Dynamic Systems Technology will play a crucial role in overseeing the Army National Guard (ARNG) Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention Programs within the assigned state. This position requires a senior-level professional with a Certified Health Promotion Coordinator (CHPC) certification to ensure the effective implementation and management of these vital programs. The coordinator will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with State Points of Contact (POCs) to facilitate collaboration and communication regarding program initiatives. In this role, the Prevention Coordinator will provide direct supervision and oversight of the Prevention Coordinator(s) and the Suicide Prevention Program Coordinator. This includes establishing and implementing program goals, objectives, and standard operating procedures that align with national directives. The coordinator will also coordinate and conduct Substance Abuse Prevention (SAP) Training for ARNG Units, ensuring that the training meets or exceeds the requirements outlined in AR 600-85 and AR 350-53. Additionally, the coordinator will be responsible for coordinating Suicide Prevention (SP) and Bystander Training for ARNG leaders and units, adhering to the standards set forth in AR 600-63, DA-PAM 600-24, and ALARACT 057-2014. The role also involves the delivery and review of Unit Risk Inventory (URI) and Reintegration Unit Risk Inventory (RURI) reports to the corresponding state level POCs. The Prevention Coordinator will create and provide Unit commanders with a Risk Mitigation Plan (RMP), which includes recommended training based on URI results. Furthermore, the coordinator will manage the accuracy and timeliness of the Defense Automated Management Information System (DAMIS) for SAP training and case management, as well as the Community Information Management System (CIMS) for Suicide Prevention. Another critical aspect of this position is managing Substance Abuse referred Soldier cases from initial referral to final disposition statistics. The Prevention Coordinator will serve as a member of the Community Health Promotion Council (CHPC) and the Adjutant General's Alcohol and Drug Intervention Council (ADIC), establishing and maintaining relationships with community-based providers. The coordinator will also be responsible for keeping a current state resource catalog and providing required weekly and monthly reports to the Resource Manager (RM). Monthly status reports for both SAP and SP will be created and presented, along with information briefings for Substance Abuse and Suicide—Interim Progress Reviews.
