About The Position

The Preventative Maintenance Technician will travel to our customers to perform semi-annual and/or annual preventative maintenance. Strong interpersonal communication skills are necessary. This position requires a mechanical aptitude, experience reviewing mechanical/electrical schematics, and an investigative mindset with the ability to accurately report findings.

Requirements

High School Diploma minimum
Understanding of drawings, schematics and troubleshooting
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong math skills and understanding of mechanics
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Willing to work overtime as needed
Willing to travel domestic and international

Nice To Haves

NC programming experience is a plus
Previous CNC machining or machine building experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide on-site maintenance services to our customers 5-axis Grob equipment
Document your findings and corrective actions to present to the customer
Communicate what you are finding in real time with the Grob customer support team
Troubleshoot machine errors
Read and follow mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical prints/drawing
Utilize precision measuring instruments (such as calipers, levels, indicators, micrometers, etc.)
Other tasks as assigned
