About The Position

Axiom Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Tech at one of our companies in Lancaster, PA. This is a Direct Hire Opportunity. The Preventative Maintenance Technician will be a key player on our maintenance crew. In this role, you'll ensure our facility meets the highest standards of safety while keeping our equipment running smoothly through a robust preventative maintenance program.

Requirements

• A strong foundation in electrical systems, electronics, pneumatics, fluid power, and power transmission drives.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability for your department and duties.
• This role requires physical dexterity and the ability to work in close quarters.
• You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., and safely bend, squat, and maneuver into tight spaces to perform repairs and modifications.

Responsibilities

• Execute the PM Program: Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and building facilities to proactively prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Respond to Breakdowns: Quickly and effectively repair equipment breakdowns as needed to support continuous production.
• Team Collaboration: Work with the maintenance team to complete all required pre-shift/pre-start checklists and identify and correct problems that negatively impact production.
• Inventory Management: Support the team in developing and maintaining an organized parts inventory to ensure necessary components are always on hand.
• Equipment Insight: Advise and provide input on necessary equipment changes and improvements.
