About The Position

Syndeo has a direct hire opening for our client, a leading out-processing and finishing company in the aerospace industry. We are seeking a dependable Preventative Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, your primary role will be to perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of manufacturing equipment. Your work will help maintain a safe and efficient production environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification is a plus but not required).
Previous experience in a manufacturing or maintenance role preferred
Basic mechanical skills and a willingness to learn about equipment maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals through print and video (gaming experience helpful)
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various environmental conditions.
Comfort with heights, climbing ladders, standing, bending, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.
Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment (e.g., greasing machinery, changing air filters, belts, and parts).
Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
Assist in scheduling maintenance activities to minimize production disruptions.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies during maintenance tasks.
