As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine checks and regular preventive maintenance on facilities machinery and equipment. Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Proven record of experience and expertise in facility maintenance
  • Ability to work in a dusty, noisy environment
  • Work out-of-doors and indoors in varied temperatures and climate
  • Ability to work with machinery (60% of the time)
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, squat, or lie down while working (20% of the time)
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and hours; some major maintenance repairs must be carried out on weekends or at night (varies depending on the situation)
  • Able to tolerate prolonged standing or walking

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine checks on the company's equipment throughout all the facilities.
  • Carry out regular preventive maintenance on all Machinery at all facilities to prevent damage.
  • Diagnose and repair or replace worn parts in machines and equipment.
  • Ensure that safety standards are a priority and maintained.
  • Ensure that the facility areas and work environment are free of hazardous objects and substances.
  • Keep proper record of work activities, including all procurement and maintenance costs using CMMS system.
  • Submit all reports on work activities and progress of work to the supervisor.
  • May be required to assist in the movement of materials and labor for projects.
