Requirements

• Education equivalent to a High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of five (5) years related manufacturing maintenance experience and/or training.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with understanding of electrical controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and productively with little supervision.
• Effective communication skills to report equipment malfunctions and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with basic computer functions and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to provide own basic set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on plastic blow molding machines.
• Maintain a 'safety first' attitude and follow established OSHA and company safety practices.
• Diagnose and repair machinery related to manufacturing including plastic molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and robots.
• Check blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to diagnose mechanical problems.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, and plumbing.
• Work directly with outside vendors to order spare parts and needed supplies.
• Perform and/or assist with weekly/monthly/annual preventative maintenance tasks.
• Repair air leaks on equipment.
• Perform and/or assist with weekly/monthly/annual EHS inspections.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, Food Safety, and Food Quality regulations.
• Support other teams with open tasks and projects.
