A Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine facility maintenance to prevent possible mechanical failure. This requires knowledge on how to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic prints for troubleshooting purposes. The person may be required to cut, weld, tap, mill and/or lathe metal parts to fix mechanical components. This person may work on special projects such as moving equipment, fabrication of components, machine installations or machine upgrades. This person will help maintain a safe, clean, efficient work environment. Must be able to work with people and machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
