Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate’s degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical or electrical technology, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, with a focus on preventative maintenance
  • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with CMMS software (e.g. Fiix, eMaint, MP2, or similar)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment diagrams
  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery, equipment, and facilities according to schedules
  • Inspect mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; identify signs of wear and potential failure
  • Make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment, including replacement of belts, filters, bearings, sensors, etc.
  • Document all maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software; ensure accurate records of all maintenance work, parts used, and equipment status
  • Assist in identifying recurring issues and recommend improvements to procedures or equipment design
  • Support production teams by responding to and troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace; contribute to a culture of safety
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and departments to coordinate maintenance and minimize production disruptions
