About The Position

Okie Staffing is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Preventative Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that machinery and equipment operate smoothly by performing regular maintenance and inspections.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a maintenance technician or related role preferred
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
• Willingness to work overtime or emergency call-outs when necessary
• Valid Driver’s License required

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery according to schedules
• Inspect machinery to identify wear, malfunctions, or potential issues
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical and electrical problems
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Order and manage replacement parts and supplies
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Assist with emergency repairs as needed
