About The Position

If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in keeping equipment running the right way, GFS is looking for you. As a Preventative Maintenance Crew Member, you’ll be out in the field maintaining and servicing paint booths and finishing systems that are critical to our customers’ operations. Your work will focus on preventative maintenance, identifying potential issues before they turn into downtime, and troubleshooting equipment to keep customers productive. This role is not a desk job—you’ll be working directly with the equipment, using your mechanical skills, and collaborating with a team that values hard work, safety, and doing the job right. You’ll have the opportunity to work with proven systems, quality tools, and experienced teammates who support each other and take pride in the results.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Willingness to learn, show up, and put in an honest day’s work—we’ll provide the training
• Comfortable with hands-on, physical work, including tight or confined spaces
• Safety-minded with a positive attitude and willingness to take direction

Responsibilities

• Replace filters and clean equipment in paint booths, prep stations, mix rooms, and related systems
• Physically access booths and tunnels to remove paint buildup and perform deep cleaning—you’ll see the impact of your work firsthand
• Perform general preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and at peak performance
• Use power tools, testing equipment, and mechanical problem-solving skills to complete the job right
• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates to ensure safe, efficient, and effective service
