About The Position

This position involves performing maintenance and inspection of construction and mining equipment, engines, or other assets as assigned, following each manufacturer’s recommended schedule. The role requires proper disposal of waste oils, fluids, and filters in accordance with State and Company regulations. The technician will assist senior-level PM Technicians to gain knowledge and ensure all jobs are completed proficiently and safely. Maintaining a clean work site after every job is essential. The company encourages continuous learning through service schools and training programs.

Requirements

• Must High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years in a Preventative Maintenance or similar role.
• Must have a mechanical aptitude.
• Must have an understanding of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its’ objectives.
• Must have a current driver's license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier.
• Must be able to pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirement as outlined by the Department of Transportation.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend and twist several times a day.
• Must have the ability to effectively and safely operate and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventative Maintenance on construction type equipment.
• Do service reports, time cards, and other paper work in a legible, understandable manner.
• Ensure that all jobs working on are completed, and that the work was done in a proficient and safe manor.
• Make sure that the work site space that was utilized is cleaned after every job is finished.
• Take advantage of all service schools and training programs that are offered by the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
