About The Position
The Pretrial Intake Officer will interview felony and misdemeanor defendants in the Douglas County Detention Center to establish and verify residence, employment, and past criminal history, assisting the District/County courts in setting appropriate bail bonds. The position involves reviewing arresting documents, conducting interviews, entering information into various databases, analyzing criminal history records, and responding to GPS issues. The typical work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, typically from 8pm to 6am, with additional hours required as needed.
