About The Position

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide compassionate nursing care to our residents, under the direction of a physician or Registered Nurse. Every day, you will assess resident needs and deliver essential physical or psychosocial care. Responsibilities

• Identifying and managing a patient crisis until RN / Physician assistance is available.
• Identifies practice abilities and limitations according to Scope of Practice.
• Obtains instruction, delegation and supervision by an RN.
• Recognizes and performs duties which are needed even when not directly assigned.
• Administers medications accurately and safely: following five rights, monitoring adverse effects, reactions, therapeutic responses, toxicity, and incompatibilities.
• Reports occurrences/complaints, following appropriate chain of command.
