About The Position

The Prestige Beauty Advisor (PBA) at Ulta Beauty is responsible for maximizing sales in the prestige category, which includes color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance. This role involves engaging with guests to understand their needs, assisting them in selecting and purchasing prestige merchandise, and maintaining store standards. The PBA supports the Sales Manager by focusing on performance, guest service, and compliance with operating procedures. Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology, esthetician, or demonstrator's license where required by state law.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Demonstrated passion and competency for prestige products and guest service.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales in the prestige category by engaging guests and assisting with product selection.
• Provide exceptional guest service by creating a guest-friendly environment and personalizing service.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to enhance guest experience.
• Book appointments and support in-store events to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
• Stay informed about industry trends and product knowledge to better serve guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational standards throughout the store.
• Participate in training and development to improve product knowledge and sales performance.
