About The Position

The Times Union is seeking an experienced offset journeyman pressman to join its Albany, NY, production operation full-time. If hired, you will work with a close-knit team responsible for maintaining and operating a state-of-the-art KBA Commander CL press that produces Times Union and numerous commercial print publications in a high-quality and cost-effective manner, seven days a week.

Requirements

5-10 years of web offset newspaper or commercial printing experience.
Able to produce high-quality print results on a consistent basis.
Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines and customer expectations.
Well-developed verbal communication skills.
Fluency with computerized press controls and operator interfaces.
Technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude for newspaper printing operations, including equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
High school diploma or equivalent.
