About The Position

This position involves previous experience with metal stamping presses. The successful candidate will be responsible for attaining efficiency targets by working with equipment and die maintenance on countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence. They will also plan for successful die changes (less than 5 minutes) and coil changes (less than 3 minutes), maintain the Kanban system on one press, and work with the Group Leader to determine countermeasures for internal and external rejects. Daily organization and cleanliness for one press and the surrounding area is also a key responsibility. The candidate must follow TBTN’s standard work procedures, safety, quality, and productivity guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience with metal stamping presses
• Experience as a setup operator
• Experience in automotive metal stamping and/or welding
• Experience and accuracy with precision measuring instruments
• Ability to accurately read blueprints
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Basic mathematical aptitude
• Computer experience, specifically with Office software (Excel, Word, etc.)

• Experience as a setup operator
