To ensure all process parameters and settings are processed according to the process set-up sheets.
Maximize uptimes on all machine centers with the objective of reducing and eliminating downtime.
Check and evaluate process technicians/operators/material handlers' documents regarding all process parameters on the Master Setup Sheets, Rack Management Sheets, and enter required data in SEHA systems.
Ensure all process parameters and press die production settings are according to process specifications.
Perform daily PPE checks on press employees, and ensure all safety features are functioning, such as safety gate, die blocks plugs, and all other safeguards.
Respond to all Quality and Operator issues regarding press parts and operation process.
Drive the reduction of defective parts through sustaining the best production conditions promoting corrective actions and the work order system.
Manage and sustain 3C5S at all times by floor and employee evaluations.
Identify quality and maintenance concerns or issues and lead a possible TFT with resolution.
Participate in Tool and Die change activities and execute evaluation activities to eliminate human errors and reduce downtimes.
Manage Empty and Full Rack quantities and their availabilities, and visual part inspecting, transporting rack activities to facilitate press part production.
Participate in Raw Material receiving/unloading activities to ensure sufficient materials are in-house for press part production.
Participate in training new Process Technicians, Operators, and other press team employees when required.
Assist in managing raw material/press part inventory management when required.
Perform other duties, as required by the Press Part Leader or MIP Group Leader.
Train, mentor, guide, and coach associates as needed.
Monitor time keeping and approve time cards, which includes monitoring and calculating Bereavement Leave, FMLA, Jury Duty, Military Leave, PTO, STD, Parental Leave, etc.
Manage individual employee performance by conducting performance evaluations and delivering performance improvement notifications.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
3-5 years' experience in a Supervisory Role and/or Leadership Role required.
Knowledge of manufacturing Processes.
Excellent Communication skills (Verbal and Written), Problem Solving Ability, MS Office, and ERP Systems (GMES-PM/RM/SAP).
