Keep reading. ID Technology has several exciting roles in our Marietta, GA location. We are seeking Press Operators for our 2nd shift. You will contribute to the success of the company by helping produce quality flexographic label products, working with a team-player mentality, and taking pride in your work. Are you intrigued about this work? Set up and operate flexographic printing presses to produce printed materials according to job specifications, ensuring accuracy and high-quality results. Mix and adjust inks to achieve the required colors, monitor ink viscosity, and maintain consistent print quality throughout the run. Perform routine press maintenance, including cleaning rollers, plates, and other press components. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or print quality issues as they arise. Monitor print quality by conducting visual inspections and using measurement devices to ensure colors, registration, and other specifications meet customer requirements. Accurately record production data, including job setup details, materials used, and completed quantities. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding machine operation and hazardous materials. Work closely with production supervisors, ink technicians, and quality control staff to ensure smooth workflow and meet production deadlines. Convert master rolls of stock into small rolls on slitter rewinders and tabletop finishing machines Package finished goods into boxes, label and seal in a neat and clean fashion Remove finished rolls of products from press Clean out ink pans upon completion of printed jobs 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:30 pm-1:30 am If this sounds like you, we want to connect!

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years operating flexographic presses (e.g., 4-color, 6-color, or 10-color presses).
  • Technical aptitude & experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Willingness to help others on the team as needed
  • Ability to maintain clean and safe work area
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others in a production setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MA P5 or similar 10-color flexographic presses.
  • Coupon and Booklet printing a plus.
  • Knowledge of UV and water-based ink systems.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and 5S workplace organization
