About The Position

The purpose of this position is to align and press green magnet blocks (axial) and produce magnet powder compacts using a hydraulic powder compacting press (iso).

Responsibilities

Optimize safety/minimize risk
Wear required PPE
Adhere to required safety precautions.
Read and understand work instructions and process control standards (PCS)
Access Paradigm to review and/or print WI or PCS.
Recommend revisions and updates to the WI and PCS.
Retrieve material, weigh powder and install proper tooling as specified on manufacturing router.
Follow Quality Control standards prior to running job.
Clean and organize machinery, equipment and work area.
Perform required preventative maintenance.
Maintain inventory of wax powder for lubrication.
Request reorder of consumables as needed.
Operate machinery
Meet established production rates and quality standards.
Verify and accurately record data into ERP computer system, manufacturing routers, logs, databases and control charts.
Perform in process inspection as required.
Adhere to EEC Escalation Policy.
Use your best efforts and full capability to achieve the outputs assigned.
When circumstances make it likely that outputs cannot be achieved, or that more could be done, inform your manager in time for adaptive action to be taken.
Advise your manager when you have ideas you believe might be helpful.
Seek special dispensation from your manager when you are unable to work at your best.
