About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and assisting with technical fabrication equipment, performing quality checks, and supporting daily production activities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
Willingness to learn quality standards and processes
Ability to use basic measurement tools (calipers, fixtures, etc.)
Comfortable learning new computer systems and software
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Demonstrated reliability and good attendance
Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift
Ability to lift 20–50 lbs (depending on materials)

Responsibilities

Set up and/or assist with tooling and equipment setup
Operate fabrication equipment such as tube/wire benders, lasers, and/or CNC mills
Inspect equipment for mechanical or safety issues and ensure tools are clean and free of debris
Follow detailed job instructions and production requirements
Complete production logs, quality checks, heat codes, and other required documentation
Perform first-piece inspections and remove parts as needed
Ensure proper labeling and tagging of materials, bins, and racks
Assist with preventative maintenance activities
Conduct quality checks and report any issues to supervisors
Meet daily production and productivity standards
Operate a forklift as needed
Accurately record scrap and production data
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned
