About The Position

Machine operation: Set up and operate printing presses according to job specifications and quality standards. Quality control: Monitor press operations to ensure consistent product quality and perform inspections of the finished products to check for defects. Maintenance and adjustments: Perform routine maintenance, clean equipment, make minor repairs, and replace worn parts. Material preparation: Prepare printing plates, screens, ink, and load paper or other materials into the press. Workflow and record-keeping: Follow production schedules, maintain production and quality logs, and record job details. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with the press as they arise. Technical skills: Proficiency in operating printing presses and knowledge of printing processes and calibration. Mechanical aptitude: Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues. Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality. Physical requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive motions. Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve problems with the machinery and process.
