The press brake operator will bend, shape, and form plates to required drawings and specifications.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of experience operating a hydraulic press brake experience forming aerospace tooling facesheets is preferred. We are willing to train those who have zero experience.
Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints and project plans
Basic computer and math skills
Ability to pass a drug test, with little or no notice, in compliance with the law
Ability to pass a background check in compliance with the law

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience operating a hydraulic press brake experience forming aerospace tooling facesheets is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate a hydraulic press brake to manufacture weldments from metal plates, forming and straightening, taper, and dish shapes to model data / drawings using cut forming templates
Prepare, set up, and adjust press brake as required by product plans and production schedules
Lift or move materials and finished products using overhead cranes / hi-lo
Measure and align materials to be used
Inspect products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and project specifications
Perform routine safety inspection and as needed maintenance on the press brake
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
Document actions by completing production timesheets
Other duties as assigned
