About The Position
Under the direction of the print shop supervisor, use training, tools, and equipment to produce high quality finished printing collateral. This includes operating our narrow web label printing and finishing equipment, as well as sheet fed cutting, folding, gluing, laminating, collating, and shredding equipment.
Requirements
- Must read, write and speak English.
- Basic math skills including division, addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
- Must have very good visual acuity.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
- Prior experience in operating and maintaining production machinery, preferably related to printing.
Nice To Haves
- Able to concentrate for long periods of time.
- Attention to detail.
- Bindery experience highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain label printer, finisher, booklet collator, paper cutter, folder, shredder, and various other smaller tools and equipment.
- Log details of work into various applications; Excel, Workfront, Navision.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Threshold management.
