About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Press Operator to set up, operate, and maintain press machinery to ensure high-quality production. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Prior press operator experience required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and production instructions.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and precision.
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Set up press machines according to job specifications, including adjusting settings, dies, and tools.
Operate press machinery safely and efficiently to produce parts according to quality standards.
Monitor press operations for proper functioning, including material feed, speed, and pressure.
Inspect finished products for defects, dimensions, and tolerances, making adjustments as necessary.
Perform routine maintenance on press equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and escalate to maintenance when needed.
Maintain accurate production records, including quantity, quality checks, and downtime reports.
Follow all safety procedures, wearing proper PPE and ensuring a safe work environment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and goals.
Assist in training new press operators as needed.
