About The Position

Action Mailing is seeking an experienced Sheetfed Press Operator to run and maintain our Komori Lithrone 28 5-color & coater press on our 1st shift. This role is responsible for producing high-quality printed materials in a fast-paced production environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining strict quality standards.

Requirements

2+ years of experience operating a sheetfed offset press (Komori preferred)
Strong understanding of color matching and print quality standards
Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specs
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Must be able to pass background check including drug screen

Nice To Haves

Experience in a commercial printing or mailing environment
Familiarity with bindery or finishing processes
Experience working in a high-volume production setting

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor a sheetfed Komori Lithrone 28 5-color & coater press.
Review job tickets and ensure proper setup (stock, ink, coatings, etc.)
Maintain color consistency and quality throughout production runs
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press equipment
Inspect printed materials to ensure they meet quality standards
Work closely with prepress and production teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Meet production deadlines while minimizing waste
